Steppin' With Horses Workshop's primary focus is to gather women who have chosen to work the 12 Steps. They will come together to interact with each other and the horses to strengthen and deepen their commitment to their sobriety by working the 12 Step Program. Lakota Moon believes that each of the 12 steps are extremely important and have significant value for those committed to living a sober lifestyle. This workshop offers the opportunity to chose a step that the participant may be stuck on, need more support or have not yet started to work. During their individual EAL session, they will work the Step of their choice. Their activity will be specifically designed for the step they chose. The entire weekend will be full of activities to support and encourage their commitment to living a sober life.
We invite you to take a step forward in your journey to laugh, cry, find hope and heal with amazing horses...and others who truly care !
This workshop consists of:
Opening/Closing Ceremony
Individual EAL Session with the horses (each participant)
Group Activity with the horses
Drumming Circle
Hammock Camp Time
Guest Speaker
And more (surprise) empowering activities
(Healthy snacks and water is provided all weekend)
